Data Entry Jobs: Get Paid To Type For Fortune 500 And Medium-Sized Businesses

Companies have employed secretarial staff for years, and never paid them particularly well. However, as the online business world heats up businesses are increasingly looking to move their paper files into digital format.

I’ve got loads of staff that are employed by my data entry business. I pay them a fair wage, and I pick up data entry work from clients over the internet. My staff’s based overseas so the profit margins are enormous.

However, as more businesses change all their records to digital format there will be less and less work to do. At the moment the market is red hot, but it may not be in the future. My data entry business is growing at over 100% a year and all the work comes from typing job sites – long may it continue!
• 2. How long will it take me to earn money?
  You will be able to start earning money the same day that you sign-up. You will not get it right away. That can take anywhere up to 30 days, depending on what time of the month you sign-up.
• 3. What kind of work do you have to do?
  You usually just fill in forms, and type what you see into a box. The more you do it, the easier you find it. When the hourly rate is so good, sometimes above $80 an hour, it can be hard to motivate yourself to work loads of hours if you work on your own. My advice is to work out how much money you need to earn, and then dedicate the right amount of hours in a day so you can earn it.
• 4. Do you have to be a fast typist?
  No, you can be a slow typist and still earn $40 an hour. However, the best typists earn over $100 an hour because they can do the work much faster. There is nothing better than practice, and that’s why the longer you do the job; the better you get.
• 5. Why don’t the businesses take on in-house staff for data-entry work?
  Businesses prefer to outsource work if they can get it done for the same price. The cost of running an office, sick-pay, pensions and health insurance all add up. However, I think the main reason they do it is that businesses tend to have one-off data entry jobs that need done. This means that they don’t want to employ permanent staff for a few months, if they are going to have to let them go at the end of it.
